This case study shows an application featuring articulated part fixture for easy load/off-load of parts; servo driven rotary actuator offers user selectable rotational settings for precise rotary indexing of parts; linear servo indexer shuttles fixture stage through the user programmable print routine. Station position can be adjusted in +/_ .001” increments.

The printer features six independent pad actuators and corresponding inking/plate stations.  A robust open “C” frame architecture with independent ink cup drive and horizontal print head pneumatic systems. The system offers safety guarding and light curtain for complete operator safety.

A multi-program PLC and touch screen control panel allow the user to select from multiple pre-set programs and a matrix showing multiple print station/part position choices for each program.
